The boat, RIB and space for tackle
Fishing requires clear deck space and room for rods and equipment. A RIB has a rigid hull and inflatable tubes, but the design name alone does not mean it is equipped for fishing. Confirm the number of anglers, fishing positions, canopy, toilet and protected storage.
Waters and equipment
Say where you would like to go: the Gulf of Finland, Lake Ladoga or another agreed area. Discuss your fishing method and the group's experience. Tackle, bait, a fishfinder, an instructor and storage for your catch are not automatically included; confirm availability and cost.
Before setting out
Check fishing and vessel restrictions for your chosen place and date. Agree the weather conditions, pier, return time and backup plan with the captain. A catch cannot be guaranteed. State that the boat is needed specifically for fishing and list the equipment you will bring.
