Terms of use and hire

RentBoat provides a vessel catalogue and the ability to submit a selection enquiry. The catalogue is not a schedule of available slots. Submitting a form does not conclude a hire or carriage agreement and does not reserve a vessel.

The form saves your request for review by the operator. The website does not accept payments; the service provider, contract and booking terms are agreed separately.

Before payment, the customer is informed of the provider, specific vessel, route, pier, time, services included, final cost and order confirmation procedure.

Positioning, waiting, cleaning, catering, decoration, holiday rates and night-time rates are agreed separately. Additional paid services are arranged only by agreement.

The consumer may cancel the service in accordance with the law. Any actual expenses retained must relate to the specific order and be supported by documents.

The notification procedure, review period and refund method are set out in the agreement. Its provisions do not restrict the consumer’s mandatory statutory rights.

The route and feasibility of departure depend on weather, water levels, the vessel’s authorisation and port authority instructions. If departure is impossible, rescheduling, a replacement or a refund is agreed with regard to the agreement and the law.

Children are included in guest numbers. The permitted capacity must not be exceeded. On board, the captain’s instructions must be followed and a safety briefing completed.
