Before buying decorations, agree their positioning and fixings with the vessel’s representative. Walkways, doors and access to lifesaving equipment must remain clear.
Clarify delivery, installation and removal of decorations separately. If decoration takes place at the pier, agree access to the vessel and preparation time.
This must be agreed in advance: describe the decorations and how they will be attached. Do not use materials that could damage surfaces or enter the water.
